The heroic actions of the WW2 commando raids inspired our Durrant watch, where soldiers from British and Commonwealth forces were often sent behind enemy lines under the cover of darkness to destroy key axis infrastructure. We wanted to create a timepiece that embodied the daring actions of those that went before us.
The brushed 42mm stainless steel case encapsulates a dial filled with illuminated markers to make operating at night effortless. The handset is beautifully finished with a crisp red outlining to the seconds hand that allows you to track H-hour with precision. Its casing is complemented by a illuminated ceramic dive bezel that acts as a nod to the aquatic operations these raids typically came from.
Powered by the reliable and respected NH35 automatic movement, you can be confident that this watch will perform under all climates and conditions. The integrated strap keeps the watch close to the wrist to prevent it snagging on modern day wet suits or clothing.

Why The Durrant
The Durrant is named in honour of Sergeant Thomas Frank Durrant VC, a soldier in the British Army during the Second World War and a posthumous recipient of the Victoria Cross, the highest award for gallantry in the face of the enemy that can be awarded to British and Commonwealth forces.
Durrant was awarded the Victoria Cross for great gallantry, skill and devotion to duty when in charge of a Lewis gun in HM Motor Launch 306 in the St Nazaire raid on 28 March 1942.
