We build our watches to last and we stand by that commitment. Every Stirling Timepiece is backed by a 2-year limited warranty from the date of purchase, covering issues related to materials and workmanship.

What’s Covered

If your watch develops a problem that stems from a manufacturing fault, we’ll repair or replace it at no cost. This includes:

  • Defects in the movement
  • Assembly-related defects

If a replacement is necessary and your model is no longer available, we’ll offer a comparable alternative.

What’s Not Covered

Our warranty does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, or general wear. The following are excluded:

  • Scratches, scuffs, or chips to the case, crystal, or bezel
  • Water damage resulting from not securing the screwdown crown
  • Magnetisation of the movement
  • Date wheel damage caused by setting the date between 9 p.m. and 3 a.m.
  • Damage due to neglect, improper handling, or deliberate abuse
  • Theft or loss of the watch
  • Cosmetic changes like fading, discolouration, or corrosion

Note:

The crystal is highly durable and can withstand significant impact without damage. As such, it is not included in warranty unless clearly defective from manufacture.

Water Resistance Reminder

To keep your watch protected from water, the screwdown crown must be fully sealed before any exposure to water. If we receive a watch with signs of water ingress and the crown is found to have been left open, the warranty will not apply. However, we’re here to help - we’ll offer a repair or replacement solution at a fair cost.

Straps & Buckles

Straps and buckles are covered by a 1-year warranty, as these components naturally wear over time with regular use.

Shipping & Ownership

  • Original owners: We’ll cover all shipping costs for valid warranty claims.
  • Secondary owners: The warranty remains valid, but shipping costs are the responsibility of the new owner.

Please note that this warranty only applies to watches purchased directly from our website or an authorised Stirling Timepieces dealer. Proof of purchase or order number is required to make a claim.

No Fault Found Policy

If a watch is returned under warranty but no manufacturing defect is found after inspection, we reserve the right to apply an assessment and return shipping fee.

We’re always happy to review any concerns, but to help avoid unnecessary costs, we recommend contacting our support team first. We may be able to resolve the issue remotely or advise whether it’s likely to be covered under warranty.

Third-Party Repairs

Please be aware that any servicing, repairs, or modifications carried out by non-authorised technicians will void your Stirling Timepieces warranty. To ensure your watch remains protected, all work should be handled directly by us.
