We can ship to BFPO addresses; however, please note that delivery times are often longer and may take three weeks or more. Once your order has been handed over to the British Forces Postal Office, tracking will no longer be available.

As BFPO handles the final stage of delivery, we’re unfortunately unable to take responsibility for any delays, misdeliveries, or parcels lost once they are in their system. In such cases, the customer would remain liable for the order.

Many of our watches utilise automatic movements . An automatic movement relies on kinetic energy generated by wrist movement to keep it ticking. A fully wound watch will have a power reserve that'll kick in for a period of inactivity.

To that end if you leave your watch on the side without any exposure to movement for an extended period of time it will eventually stop ticking. It can be restarted with a firm shake or the winding of the crown.

Unscrew the crown, then pull it out to the first click and set the date to yesterday.

Next, pull the crown out to the second click and turn the hands clockwise until the date changes to today - this indicates midnight has passed.

From here, continue setting the correct time. If it’s the afternoon, make sure you move the hands past 12 o’clock once more.

Finally, push the crown back in and screw it down securely to maintain water resistance.

The accuracy of your watch will depend on the movement used.

For watches with the NH35 movement, they are accurate to within -20~+40 seconds per day.

For watches with an SW200 movement, they are accurate to within +/-12 sec/day up to +/- 30 seconds per day.

For watches with a Ronda movement, they are accurate to within -10/+20 seconds per month.

Most movements will outperform their manufacturers guidelines but if your watch isn't within these tolerances please drop us an email.

If your watch is running fast, it could have become magnetised from a strong magnetic source. If you suspect this please get in touch with the Stirling team.

In the unlikely event that you are dissatisfied with your purchase, you are able to return it within 28 days of receipt. To return your order, please send an email to info@stirlingtimepieces.com stating your name, order number and reason for return. We'll be in touch with details of our return address.

You must return your order in an undamaged and unworn condition within the original packaging. Failure to do so could result in a refund being refused. We are not responsible for paying any customs charges (import duty or tax) on any returns. You will be responsible for all costs and charges associated with returning your order.

We recommend you return your order via a tracked shipping method, or request a proof of postage receipt, as we cannot refund or exchange lost returns. Any orders sent back after 28 days of receipt will be returned to the customer.
